We are approaching a somber weekend for our country . . . the anniversary of September 11. Many have varying memories of this day, and others have no memories at all. I believe it is important for our children to know about the brave men and women who fought the debris to save countless lives. The brave men and women who fought to continue their lives despite the trauma of that day. The brave men and women who lost their lives to protect ours. On this day, we stop and remember how God brought our country through those dark days, and has protected our country from further trauma of such magnitude since then. As we prepare to stop and remember, take a moment to read one of these books with your children and remember the lives affected by September. 11. God bless America!
